UNLESS the victim of the crime finds that acceptable. for example, perhaps i'm a child and the property i damaged was my dad's, and my older brother steps in and pays for the repairs. see where this is going? when it comes to sin, God is the "victim" of our "crime," therefore He is the one who gets to decide what's just. and He decided that if someone else "pays the price" for our crime, and if we turn away from our bad behavior, then He'd find that acceptable and forgive us for our wrongdoing. our older brother pays the price, and our father forgives us. all involved parties accept the terms, and so justice is done.>> <<@TheHigherVoltage says : Christianity is so ridiculous. Sorry no loving merciful parent would do that to his children, he would forgive them and teach them why what they did was wrong.
