Jesus knew that his teachings would be misused and misunderstood. For that reason, Jesus has RETURNED - through the medium of the Christ Letters and A Course In Miracles, or through those who can communicate with the dead - to describe his life and his teachings over 2000 years ago, so he can rescue Christians from myths and fallacies too. But no Christian has the capacity to listen to Jesus because they have too great a rebellious spirit and ego-drive. So as you can see, Christians are enduring all the horrific force of their innate rebellious consciousness. This is NOT punishment from God - but a natural working out of the Law of Existence: what you carry in your mind and heart will eventually externalize in your body, life and environment.
