If Christ can walk on water and be raised from the dead. Cant the same God make our world in 6 literal days? If that wasnt the case why would he say to the Israelites work 6 days and rest on the 7? Whether certain accounts or even historical events.😢 My experience with God has mostly been outside of His word. At 12 years old, He called out my name and basically was chastising me. That was the beginning of my physical belief in God . Later, when I was 16, I almost died of a drug overdose, and I called out to Jesus to save me. He did. Throughout my life, my faith in God, although not much biblical scripture, sustained me, I had all my needs met because of my personal belief in God. I used to tell everyone in 1982, and on, ages 15-25, I would tell people that I had a personal relationship with God. Around 22 I was taught about the Holy Spirit, and a year later in the early morning 3am, I woke up, was looking for something to watch on the TV, and couldn't choose, I heard the Lord say to me read the Bible. After two - 3 hours, I was reading I read abide in Me ..... And the Holy Spirit came upon me. Another personal, physical feeling that sustains my faith... I heard Pastor Frank say God doesn't speak much outside the Bible. I'm sorry, but He has always spoken to me throughout my life. It's always been a word for my best, better, good, and even how He sees me. But I will say, reading the Bible more, in my latter years, it's been knowledge that is amazing and the Holy Spirit engages with me.
