I have been extremely scared that I will do what he did to myself. The love for my children, my family keeps me here. I came from a mother who abandoned me age 3. My dad in prison and grandparents with alcohol issues after their death and much physical abuse at age 12 I tried to take my life. I ended up in the care institutions. Aged 17 I was pregnant and alone. Same age 18 with another baby. Married an abusive police officer and had another baby. Marriage split and after an almost fatal ectopic pregnancy I realised I was never alone God was there the whole time. Kids from the care system do not have great outcomes alot of the time but here I am with a new husband another son getting ready to attend my son's graduation.
