I've had so many doubts because I've seen this prophecy gift being misused&in my lack of understanding the Bible,I became confused about things. I had a very strong faith&did not stop evangelising and praising God for years,but I began to sense deception&practises I did not recognise in the Bible,from there I feel I've been battling with the enemy to keep hold of my faith&defend it. So many people believe different things&charismatic churches seem to be going away from Scripture and off into a spiritual dimension that I did not discern as being Holy Spirit lead.,just so many man made ideas and man centred Gospels&songs. Oh that I pray my joy,boldness &confidence would fill my cup again that I would be moved by the power of God to share the Gospel of Good news again. Pls pray for me,I'm in a lovely church,scriptural sound,reformed,evangelical,the Word is preached but the apostolic ministry isn't as they say there is no new revelation or prophecy from God, its already written and the Canon is closed. I'm leaning toward this teaching based on what I think I understand,it all seems so complicated, upon my conversion I was unstoppable,the Lord was with me and I was full of His love to go and proclaim Him everywhere. I seem to have lost that love and don't know how to get it back,He gave me that and now I've lost it😢. Your teaching is encouraging but I'm still not clear about whether other revelation through prophecy is for today. The Kingdom now church are movin in this prophetic ministry,the NAR are probably the same,I feel its all lost on me,I do not discern my Lord in that Kingdom now teaching of dominion theology. Its all confused me as to what is the simple truth of the Gospel and where to send people for teaching after the Gospel has been shared when the churches are becoming so man centred and off biblically.
